Craftton 'Bag Mobile India' cumulative users exceed 100 million

[Mobile India Park Ye-jin reporter] Craepon (CEO Chang-han Kim) announced on the 1st that 'Battleground Mobile Mobile India (BGMI)' exceeded 100 million cumulative users in one year.

Craftton launched BGMI in India on July 2 last year, provides differentiated content for Indian users, and creates esports ecosystems to expand to the 'viewer' floor.

BGMI ranked No. 1 in Google Play's sales in April. Earlier, Craepon provided India-oriented contents and products, including the Indian holiday commemorative event and the price policy considering the purchase pattern of local users, and various collaboration with famous Indian celebrities and influencers in India.

The BGMI esports competition, which announced its first start with the Battleground Mobile India Series 2021 last November, is also cruising. Battleground Mobile Pro Series (BMPS) Season 1, which completed three weeks on June 12, was attracting attention with the largest prize in India's esports history, with 20 million rupees (about 330 million won). A total of 175 million cumulative viewing was achieved.


This year, four professional and amateur competitions will be held, including BMPS Season 1. The total prize money of all competitions this year is 60 million rupees.

Kim Chang-han, CEO of Craepon, said, India is an important market for Kraftton, and it will actively contribute to growing into a stronger market as we have great expectations for the Indian game industry. Craepon will continue to improve the experience of India's mobile game through BGMI, and will continue to search for investment opportunities for the development of the digital ecosystem.

Meanwhile, Craepon has invested eight times in platforms, e-sports and game streaming companies and startups in emerging markets, including India and other emerging markets since last year.
